Welcome to Triumph and Disaster, the only TFL approved fanlisting for the tennis tournament Wimbledon, which in my opinion is the best tournament ever. Wimbledon is set in South London, between Southfields and Wimbledon, at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. It is one of the four Grand Slams of tennis - the others being the Australian Open (Melbourne), the French Open/Roland Garros (Paris) and the US Open (New York) - and each and every year the best players come out onto perfectly polished lawns to play a now dying breed of tennis. It has produced several champions who have been the best of their generations - Connors, Borg, McEnroe, Agassi, Sampras and Federer have all been crowned champions here. Along with the fantastic tennis, Wimbledon is known mostly for its rain which never fails to appear at the tournament in some way!
