Welcome to In A Galaxy Far Far Away, the only TFL approved fanlisting for the Star Wars series of movies. The first Star Wars movie, A New Hope was first released in 1977 and spawned two sequels released in 1980 and 1983. It was always Lucas' intention that the series would have prequels; these were finally released in 1999, 2002 and 2005. I first saw Star Wars when I was very young but it's been one of my favourite movie series since 1997 when the movies were re-released in cinemas. Though the original trilogy and the prequels do have different feels about them, they work very well as a series. If you're a fan of the Star Wars movie series then please join the fanlisting.
