Welcome to Sorry... I'm A Twat, the only TFL approved fanlisting for the character Owen Harper from the British television show Torchwood, the spin off show from Doctor Who. Owen is the medical doctor of Torchwood. He was recruited by Jack after his fiancee died of a mysterious disease and worked at Torchwood for about four years before the start of the show. Owen is arrogant and cocky and will use anything to get a woman into his bed. However, after he meets Diane, a pilot who's travelled through the rift to the year 2006, he falls in love with her and after she leaves him Owen begins to mellow out more. In season two, Owen is shot and confirmed dead, however Jack brings him back to life and Owen continues to "live", even though his body is still dead. When Owen has to stop a nuclear reactor from destroying Cardiff gets trapped inside the control room. He partially suceedes, as Cardiff remains but he has to sacrifice his life in the process. I have loved Owen from the start of the show. He's the most interesting character on Torchwood and you learn almost nothing about him until 'Fragments' where Owen's backstory is revealed. It definitely showed a different side of Owen that I enjoyed, but the one I enjoy the most is the snarky, sarcastic doctor of Torchwood. If you're a fan of Owen then please join the fanlisting.
