Welcome to Spooky, the only TFL approved fanlisting for the character Fox Mulder from the long running cult show The X-Files, which ran from 1993 until 2002, and has so far spawned two movies, the first released in 1998 and the second to be released in July 2008. When Mulder was 12, his sister was abducted in a government experiment and his event in his life shaped his future from an early age. After attending Oxford University and attaining a degree in psychology, Mulder joined the FBI and discovered the X-Files in 1991, which were hidden away in the basement. They become his life's work in the hope that they will lead him to his sister and although he is assigned a partner - Dana Scully - in the hope that she will debunk his work, the pair end up tangled in a government conspiracy and their quest for the truth. Mulder is one of my all time favourite television characters, from the first episodes of The X-Files I watched I loved his passion and determination for his work and how he was willing to do anything for the people he loves. Although he is approached to work for the other side several times, his integrity keeps him from taking the easy way to fix his problems, and although him and Scully end up as fugitives, they never give up hope. If you're a fan of Mulder then please join the fanlisting.

Mulder: What you may find is you concentrate on hitting that little ball, the rest of the world just fades away. All your everyday nagging concerns. The ticking of your biological clock. How you probably couldn't afford that nice, new suede coat on a G-woman's salary. How you threw away a promising career in medicine to hunt aliens with a crackpot - albeit brilliant - partner. Getting into the heart of a global conspiracy. Your obscenely overdue triple-x bill. Oh, I'm sorry, Scully, those last two problems are mine, not yours.
