A fanlisting is a place for all the fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people all around the world who are fans of that subject. You can learn more about the idea behind it at TFL.org or you can even apply to get your very own fanlisting.
This fanlisting is for the character Fox Mulder from the television show The X-Files which aired from 1993-2002, and has also spawned two movies which Mulder appears in. He is played by the actor David Duchovny who is just brilliant at the role, putting the right amount of intelligence, sarcasm and mystery into the character. Mulder's life was fairly normal until he was 12, when his sister was abducted in front of his eyes and he never gave up hope that one day she would be returned to him. He has a brilliant mind, attending Oxford University in England and attaining a degree in psychology, and then training at the FBI and being top of his class. In 1991 Mulder discovered the X-Files - cases which relate to the paranormal in some way, and many have gone unsolved. In the quest to find his sister, Mulder became obsessed with the X-Files and was eventually given a partner to debunk his work so they could be closed down. However, Scully could not debunk his work and the pair became tangled in a government conspiracy to cover up the existence of extra-terrestrials. Although Mulder goes through many traumatic events while investigating the X-Files, he never gives up hope for the people he loves and will do anything he can to help them, even if it means putting his own life in danger. The show ended with Mulder and Scully running from the government as fugitives, however, they still have hope.
I love Fox Mulder. He is a brilliant character and I think he's one of the best ever created. His passion for his work is both terrifying and wonderful at the same time as no matter how endangered his life gets, he never gives up, especially if it is for someone he wants to protect such as his sister or Scully. Although he is offered easier ways out by going against his cause, he doesn't take them, instead preferring to uncover the truth. His enthusiasm for his work is unwavering. Although Mulder is solely dedicated to his work at the stats, not trusting Scully, eventually she becomes his friend and confident and his most trusted ally. To watch Mulder grow as a person is fascinating, and part of it is due to his partner, beginning to understand her way of thinking although he loves to disprove it.
I chose the title 'Spooky' because it's perfect to describe Mulder and his work. It was his nickname at the FBI academy - he earned it because of his wild theories - and it has stuck with him, other agents calling him "Agent Spooky" or "Spooky Mulder", and in several episodes he refers to himself as spooky. He also asks Scully if she thinks he is spooky the first time they meet, knowing that his reputation precedes him.

Mulder: You know, it's funny, when all is said and done, there's not much mystery in murder.
