One of the most famous tennis players ever, McEnroe was known as much for his temper as he was for his tennis. He was the winner of 7 Grand Slam singles titles (3 Wimbledon, 4 US Open) 9 Grand Slam mens doubles titles (5 Wimbledon, 4 US Open) and 1 Grand Slam mixed doubles title (French Open), reached numerous other Grand Slam finals and was ranked number one in the world. He now commentates for NBC and the BBC at various tennis tournaments, and still plays tennis on the seniors tour and also at exhibitions.
