J.D. and Turk met at college and have been best friends ever since. At the start of the show they were roommates, and although J.D. has moved out of their shared apartment they remain closer than a married couple. J.D. and turk have this fantastic relationship on Scrubs, although they have fun and in-jokes, they also have a much deeper side where they are not afraid to share their feelings with each other (especially J.D.) and it's just so funny because they are basically married.
