This fanlisting is for Converse: All-Stars/Chuck Taylor shoes. The shoes were first made in 1917 but did not become popular until basketball player Chuck Taylor chose them as his preferred shoe. Before 1966, coloured and patterened shoelaces were available to complement the black and white designs the company produced. After this time more colours and patterns became available in various styles, including low-top, high-top and knee-high versions along with a pair without laces, held by elastic instead. The shoes are now available in certain core colours and patterns all year round but also have seasonal colours and patterns along with special editions. Recently these include Kurt Cobain and Batman print. They have been popular in recent years with rockers and emo fashion.

Chucks are my favourite shoes. I love shoes anyway, but Chucks are so comfortable and wearable with anything that I have eleven pairs and I'm sure that will grow pretty soon! I personally like the patterns that they have because I think they look cuter but the basic colours are always good too. Especially red. I have a fondness for the red.

I chose the title 'Chucks' it's what the shoes are commonly known as. Also, it was the title before and it is pretty much perfect for the shoes.
