Welcome to Chucks, the only TFL approved fanlisting for Converse: All-Stars/Chuck Taylor shoes. These shoes were first produced in 1917 but did not become popular until Chuck Taylor, a basketball player, used them as his preferred shoe. Over time, more styles of the shoe have been developed including low-tops (Oxford), high-tops and knee-high versions have been produced in various colours, patterns and fabrics. The shoes always remain available in certain colours and styles but seasonally change others. They are now a popular fashion item for rockers and emo fashion. Chucks are my favourite shoes; not only are they incredibly comfortable but they come in such a range of colours and patterns that you can buy a pair for literally anything.
